KARACHI: Customs Enforcement Karachi has recovered large quantity of foreign origin liquor, which was dumped at a house in Clifton, Karachi.

In line with the directives of Member Customs Mukarram Jah Ansari and Chief Collector Enforcement South Yaqoob Mako, Customs enforcement has increased vigilance and strengthened intelligence network across the jurisdiction.

Information was passed through Collector Enforcement Karachi Aamir Theim to Additional Collector Amjad Rajper regarding presence of contraband goods at a premise in Clifton.

Deputy Collector Tariq Husain formed an ASO team and an operation was conducted. High brand liquor was found dumped at a House at Clifton area. Total quantity is 850 bottles and valuing Rs8.5 million, approximately.

One person has been arrested and FIR has been lodged.
