KARACHI: Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar of High Court of Sindh on Friday admitted Faizan Fayaz of Faizan & Company to protective bail for seven days against a solvent surety of rupees 50,000 directing the applicant to surrender before the trial court or participate in the investigations.
The applicant through law firm Franklin Law Associates moved the court for protective bail in Crime no 04 of registered under section 16, 32 (1), 32 A (1) and 192 of the Customs Act 1969. The case pertains to submission of forged/fake documents for getting three vehicles released from port. The FIR was launched at PS Appraising, Intelligence branch of Customs House.
The counsel for petitioner pleading innocence and apprehending maltreatment and disgrace at the hand of the Investigating agency sought protective bail for surrendering before the trial court.
The bench after hearing the counsel for applicant/accused admitted him to protective bail till May 22.
