KARACHI: Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar of High Court of Sindh (SHC) on Tuesday asked an applicant for bail to submit details and copies of his bail pleas before Peshawar High Court.
Sajid Hussain arrested by Pakistan Customs, Preventive sought bail in a case of mis-declaration. According to the FIR, the petitioner declared consignment containing tiles but on inspection, fireworks were found stuffed in the container after which he was taken into custody and later sent to prison.
Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for applicant maintains that applicant is a disabled person. His CNIC was misused.
The bench after hearing initial arguments asked about status of three bail application filed by the applicant and pending before Peshawar High Court. The bench with above directions fixed May 25 as next date of hearing. The application is behind the bars since more than 2 months.
