KARACHI: MCC Appraisement East has started issuing notices to various banks and Land Departments advising to attach bank accounts and properties of various importers/companies, which evaded government revenue to the tune of billions of rupees.
Collector Appraisement East Ashad Jawwad has formed a team to affect recovery through attachment of bank accounts of defaulters. The team comprises of Assistant Collector Hina Gul, Principal Appraiser Sultan Aurungzaib and Appraising Officer Ameer Nasir Ali.
Notices have been issued to attach the bank accounts and properties of following companies:
A plot in Shershah Karachi of M/s Aziz enterprises has been attached for recovery of Rs35.275 million. Factory office of M/s Universal Tex Karachi is attached for recovery of Rs24.85 million. A plot in Shershah Karachi of M/s Ameen Industries Karachi is attached for recovery of Rs44.64 million. A plot in Shershah and a shop in North Nazimabad Karachi of M/s NBB Corporate is attached for recovery of Rs3.256 million. A shop in Fadoo Ramoo Lane Karachi of M/s A-Abid Enterprises is attached for recovery of Rs88.68 million.
Notice is issued to Standard Chartered Bank to attach the bank account of M/s Tayyaba Enterprises Lahore as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs26.85 million.
Notice is issued to MCB Bank to attach the bank account of M/s Suleman Steel Manufacturers & Traders Multan as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs36.266 million.
Notice is issued to United Bank Limited (UBL) to attach the bank account of M/s Faiz International Karachi as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs24.339 million.
Notice is issued to Bank Al-Habib to attach the bank account of M/s Arbaz Garment Industries Toba Tek Singh as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs233.80 million.
Notice is issued to Faysal Bank to attach the bank account of M/s Ameen Ameer Industrial Karachi as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs26.85 million.
Notice is issued to Sindh Bank to attach the bank account of M/s R.W.H Brothers & Company as the company is defaulting government revenue of Rs50.8 million.
