KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Anwar Hussain restrained the Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Pakistan Customs from searching and removing goods from warehouse of a petitioner Shafiullah.
Miss Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the petitioner told the court that ASO without a search warrant forcibly entered into the godown of the petitioner situated in Shershah and were removing items without any process of law, making inventory etc and hence petitioner would face loss of property/items duly possessed by him.
She prayed to the court to restrain the raiding party from removing any article from the disputed place.
The bench after hearing initial arguments by the counsel for the petitioner while restraining the respondents from removing any thing from the godown issued notices to ASO, Ghas Bandar for Sept 27.
