KARACHI: The judge, Special Customs Court at Karachi on Tuesday acquitted one Naveed Ahmed, owner of Hadi Textile in case no 20 of 2014.
As per FIR, the accused being an industrial unit misused the exemption provided under SRO 1125 of 2011 by importing yarn.
Zia-ul-Hasan advocate appearing for the accused presented documents to establish that the accused was registered with the FBR as an importer and exporter.
The special court judge after perusing the papers and record and hearing counsel from both sides acquitted the accused.
