KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Abdul Malik Gaddi on Friday restrained collection of three percent additional tax on imported goods at import stage.
The bench was hearing a petition filed by M/s Cropland Chemical & Seed Services who through Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate challenged Rule 58 (b). [the_ad id=”31605″]The counsel prayed to the court that in a number of identical petitions, the court has issued stay order and she also prays for the same relief.
The bench allowing the request also ordered issuance of notices to the respondents for April 10.
