KARACHI: Additional Deputy Collector (ADC) Licensing was put on notice for March 28 by a customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh here on Monday.[the_ad id=”31605″]The bench comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Abdul malik Gaddi was hearing a petition filed by Hasnain and Sons, clearing agents, whose license was terminated on the basis of a complaint that their bills show certain undue amounts paid. It was alleged that money was doled out to custom officers for undue favours.

Representing the petitioner, a lawyer from Franklin Law Associates submitted before the bench that nills contained amounts paid to the  assistants and peons and further that complainant and respondent/petitioner had some money dispute which have been settled and consequently the complainant has withdrawn his complaint. The petitioner is suffering losses due to the termination of license, submitted the counsel  for restoration of the same.
