ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made medical certificate mandatory for 16th senior management course (SMC) for BS-19 officers of Pakistan Customs Services at National Management College, Lahore and National Institute of Management, Karachi.
In a letter issued on Monday, the FBR said that the date to submit consent for the course has been extended for two days i.e. May 28, 2014 with the pre-requisites included:
Consent(s) must reach to the board up to May 28, 2014 accompanying latest medical certificate(s).
Nomination shall not be considered in case the medical certificate is not furnished.
No further extension shall be made for the purpose.
The letter said that the officers who have already exercise their consent(s) as well as forwarded medical certificate(s) need not to submit the same again.
In the previous letter issued May 20, the FBR intimated that 16th Senior Management Course (SMC) for BS-19 officers had been scheduled to be held shortly at National Management College, Lahore and National Institute of Management, Karachi.
Nomination of BS-19 officers of Pakistan Customs Services in order of senior are required to be forwarded to the Establishment Divisions for nomination of suitable officers for the course.
The authorities said that before sending the names of officers to the establishment division, consent of each eligible officer for the purpose should be obtained whether the officer is available for attending the course or otherwise.
