KARACHI: A constitutional petition filed by Telenor Pakistan Private Limited through known law firm Franklin Law Associates was disposed of by a custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
The bench earlier heard counsel from the law firm, Sardar Zafar Hussain and Khalid Mehmood Rajper representing Pakistan Customs and Deputy Attorney General Kashif Nazeer representing Federal government.
The bench noted that an appeal is pending before the Appellate Tribunal and judgment is to be announced shortly.
In view of this position the bench disposed of the petition directing the customs department to not to take any coercive action against the petitioner till judgment by the tribunal.
