KARACHI: A judgment passed by Custom Appellate Tribunal setting aside Valuation Ruling 1668/2022 in respect of Hot Melt Adhesives and assessment of goods on declared value basis was suspended by a custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
The judgment was challenged by the Pakistan Customs in a Special Custom Reference Application No 78,79,80 and 81 of 2024 filed through Sardar Zafar Hussain Advocate who submitted that impugned judgment is beyond powers available to the Custom Appellate Tribunal.
The bench after examining the questions of law raised in these identical application ordered issuance of notice to the respondents for a date to be fixed by the office of the court.
