KARACHI: A bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Athar Minallah admitted three Civil Petitions for Leave to Appeal (CPLAs) No 1407m 1408 and 244-K of 2024 against Pakistan Customs, Valuation and others.

The bench heard Muhammad Afzal Awan Advocate assisted by Rana Shakawat Ali, Saad Shafiq Siddiqui, Imran Iqbal Advocate for appellantsĀ  while Customs Valuation was represented by Director Fayyaz Rasool Makan, Raja M Iqbal Advocate assisted by Sardar Zafar Hussain advocate.

The bench held that a number of questions of law appears to have arisen from the judgment of the High Court of Sindh which needs consideration.

The bench while adjourning the hearing ordered placing of the same before a three member bench of apex court. The bench also allowed Saad Shafiq Siddiqui who is yet to be enrolled as Advocate Supreme Court to appear as he appeared for the appellant before SHC.
