KARACHI: Appraisement South has started conducting online hearings in respect of the review requests pertaining to Assessment Group V to promote faceless interaction with traders.
On the directives of Chief Collector Appraisement South Wajid Ali, all the collectorates in South including MCC Port Qasim, MCC Appraisement East and MCC Appraisement West, have implemented these directives.
Chief Collector Wajid Ali, a high profile officer, has ordered implantation of these measures in view of the Covid-19.
Traders and clearing agents had been asking the Customs authorities to start conducting online hearings instead of physical interactions.
