Pakistan’s Liquid Foreign Reserves Position

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 20,058.6 million on 12-February-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-

1. Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan     : US$ 12,889.7 million
2. Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks             : US$   7,168.9 million
3. Total liquid foreign reserves                                               : US$ 20,058.6 million

During the week ended 12-February-2021, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 59 million to US$ 12,889.7 million, due to external debt repayment.
