MCC Preventive Quetta seizes smuggled goods worth Rs300 million in a week

QUETTA: MCC Preventive Quetta, with the assistance of Frontier Crops and Balochistan Police, has seized huge quantities and high valued contraband smuggled goods worth Rs.300 million in the last one week ended November 14, 2020.

Chief Collector Enforcement Gul Rehman has directed the field formations to intensify the anti- smuggling drive.

The seized goods include Auto parts, Betel nut, Blankets, Foreign origin Cigarettes, Cloth, POL products, Gutka, NCP vehicles, Tyres, Urea fertilizer and transporting vehicles.

It is further added that the intensified anti-smuggling drive has resulted in the seizures of Rs.430.09 million from 1st till 13th November, 2020 as compared to the seizures of Rs.181.35 million during the corresponding period of the last year.
