KARACHI: The normal court proceedings were halted at High Court of Sindh on Monday as rain water from heaviest ever down pour left the premises inundated.
The files could not move as Sindh government announced holiday on previous Friday, a day after Thursday’s record rain.

The government has already declared Saturday and Sunday as holidays on account of Ashura and thus no cause list could be prepared.

As no case was fixed for today, no hearing was possible. This may be the first time in history of SHC when no hearing was conducted for technical reason rather due to natural disasters as mega city of Karachi is reeling under the after affects of worst ever urban flooding.
