KARACHI: A petition filed by Khawaja Chemical, Circular Road, Lahore was dismissed as not pressed by a division bench of High Court of Sindh Rana Shakawat advocate appeared for the petitioner and submitted that dispute is over valuation. Ms Afsheen Aman and Masooda Suraj advocates appearing for the Director General, Valuation, Pakistan Customs stated that consignment of Chlorinated Paraffin has been released provisionally after securing security against disputed amount.
The counsel for petitioner said that in this case he will persue the matter before DG Valuation as an application under section 25 d is already pending before DG Valuation. He further stated that he is satisfied with the statement by counsel for respondent 3 & 4. The bench after this statement risk seed the petition as not pressed.
