TPL Trakker’s AI Driven Location Based Services Power NCOC and NITB’s Smart Lockdown Solutions

Karachi: TPL Trakker, Pakistan’s leading IoT company, has partnered with NITB (National Information Technology Board) and NCOC (National Command and Operation Center) to support their national efforts in Pakistan’s fight against COVID-19.

Through this collaboration, TPL Maps, the mapping arm of TPL Trakker, will play a critical role in helping the people of Pakistan during this pandemic by mapping, analyzing and reporting cases across major cities. Given the recent surge in coronavirus cases, the interactive map marking hotspots of the rampant spread of the disease, will help Provincial governments in imposing geo-based smart lockdowns, making them efficient and effective.

At the early onset of the COVID-19 outbreak in Pakistan, the team at TPL Trakker applied their expertise in location solutions and data analysis to create multiple tools that would bring automation and smart tracking to COVID-19 response mechanisms. Upon evaluation, NCOC and NITB chose TPL Trakker’s solutions and Location Based Services to solve critical challenges that could provide a comprehensive national response to the outbreak.

Speaking on this collaboration, Sarwar Ali Khan, CEO, TPL Trakker said, “With corporate social responsibility at the heart of our business operations, we take deep pride in supporting government organizations and a national cause through our technological capabilities.
