KARACHI: Mrs Sadaf Asif, Judge, Special Customs, Excise & Taxation Court on Thursday acquitted two accused namely Naeem Ahmed Malik and Aamar Khalil of Malik Paper Mart, Lahore.
They were booked in case no 36 and 40 of 2010 and charged of misdeclaration causing huge loss to the government exchequer. According to custom the Duplex board.
Zia-ul-Hasan advocate who represented the accused maintained that it was proved before the court that the accused imported single ply sheet of inferior quality and not the Duplex board as alleged by the department which failed to prove misdeclaration before the court.
