KARACHI: Justice Fahim Ahmed Siddiqui of High Court of Sindh (SHC) admitted an accused Muhammad Ahsan son of Muhammad Arshad to protective bail for seven days against a solvent surety of rupees 50,000.
The accused was booked in a FIR No SI/MISC/WEBOC/10/EXM, PQ/2019 DATED 23-9-2019 on alleged charge of smuggling. The applicant appeared before the court along with Advocates Imran Iqbal Khan and Rayan Zia (Expert Law) who maintained that name of the applicant was not in FIR but included in interim challan. The applicant/accused is ready to appear before the trial court and also to join investigations but custom officials have surrounded the trial court (Special Custom Court) preventing him from doing so.
The single judge after hearing the counsel for applicant accused admitted the accused to protective pre-arrest bail for seven days against a solvent surety of rupees 50000 with the direction to the accused to surrender before the trial court within seven days.
