KARACHI: Two identical petitions filed by K-Electric were dismissed here on Friday by Customs Appellate bench of High Court of Sindh.
As the petitions were taken up, the counsel for petitioner electric supply monopoly company said that an identical petition challenging issuance of Show Cause Notice has been dismissed by this court a few days back. He said that these two petitions were to be fixed with the earlier one but for reasons could not be placed before the court.
The bench dismissed the same after this statement by the counsel for petitioner in terms of order passed earlier. The bench earlier held that show cause notice cannot be challenged before the High Court and departmental authority is the appropriate forum.
