KARACHI: The custom officials were directed on Friday to submit compliance report regarding order of the court passed on Oct 04 and 22, 2019 in a petition filed by Iqbal & Sons and A.K. International who imported a consignment of fabric.
A counsel from Franklin Law Associates appearing for the petitioners told the bench that respondents are yet to submit the compliance report about two orders passed by the customs appellate bench comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Mahmood A Khan so that it could be ascertained that whether the orders have been implemented or not. He added that respondents have secured pay orders against provisional release of the consignment in dispute.
The bench directed the respondents to submit the compliance report on Dec 10 for which date further proceedings were adjourned.
