KARACHI: Customs Quetta has foiled a bid to transport smuggled goods and seized goods worth millions of rupees near Sorab, Khuzdar.
[the_ad id=”32940″]Information was passed through Collector Preventive Dr. Iftikhar and Additional Collector Jameel Baloch regarding movement of smuggled goods.
Subsequently, Deputy Collector Abdul Qudoos and Assistant Collector Umair Arshad advised Superintendent Saleem Mandokhel to tighten vigilance.
A team comprising Inspectors Ahmed Nawaz Zehri and Rehmatullah Khilji recovered large quantity of iron wire rod from a truck coming from Iran.
Moreover, 30,000 liters of smuggled diesel and fabric was also seized.
Further, a team comprising Yousuf Notezai and Shabbir Khan supervised by Deputy Collector Abdul Qudoos recovered large quantity of smuggled goods including tiles, polythene etc at Lakpas.
Chief Collector Dr. Chaudry Zulfiqar and Collector Preventive Dr. Iftikhar has appreciated the efforts of Quetta Preventive team.
