KARACHI: Directorate of Customs Intelligence Multan has seized large quantity of smuggled betel nut, as the Customs Intelligence and Investigation is pursuing a continuous campaign against smuggling as per the directives of Director General Zahid Khokar.

Senior Intelligence Officer Akmal Hashmi along with Intelligence Officers Imran Ehlai and Mohsin shah intercepted half body trailer registration loaded with foreign origin Betel nut under concealment of gypsum stone.
Value of the goods Rs30 million, and value of vehicle is Rs10.5 million.
