QUETTA: Directorate of Customs Intelligence Quetta has booked several officials in an FIR for involvement in theft of goods worth Rs9.82 million from the State Warehouse Quetta.[the_ad id=”31605″]

According to details, information was received that certain goods had been stolen from Killi Gul Muhammad Sate Warehouse Quetta. A team was formed to prepare inventory of stolen goods from State Warehouse. As per initial finding goods including tyres, cigarettes, coffee, Gutka, dish receivers etc. worth Rs6.679 million were found missing. Inventory of other room revealed that goods worth Rs3.157 million had been stolen for a long time.

As per initial findings theft was committed by a group of people including sepoys Zubair Ahmed, Maqbool Ahmed, Ali Sher; Naseebullah Farash, Muhammad Asif Barech, Aftab Ahmed, Faheem and Jabir.

An FIR is lodged against the said officials of Directorate of Customs Intelligence Quetta and others. Investigations are underway. Sources said the IO of the case Bashir was protecting the accused and trying to weaken the prosecution. Bashir is said to be found involved in theft of goods before.
