KARACHI: A division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M. Shaikh and Justice Adnan Iqbal chaudhry on Wednesday disposed of a petition with direction to the Pakistan Customs to get the appeal pending before special custom appellate tribunal decided in 10 days.

The bench was hearing a petition filed by Abid Muhammad challenging impounding of a Toyota Corrola X vehicle by the Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) as it had no number plate.

Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate appearing for the petitioner submitted that the vehicle was auctioned by Quetta Collectorate and hence legal.

The bench however after hearing the sides asked Pakistan Customs to expedite the proceedings before the tribunal and to get a decision in next ten days.
