KARACHI: As per the directives of Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), MCC Quetta crack down continues against illegal private show rooms and illegal mini petrol pumps as over a dozen luxurious non Customs paid vehicles were taken into custody.

Police along with other law enforcement agencies including FC also assisted Customs authorities in this anti-smuggling campaign.

Collector Quetta Ashraf Ali has formed special anti smuggling teams under the supervision of Additional Collector Zubair Shah and Deputy Collector Maqbool Baloch to follow the directives of FTO.

Deputy Collector Maqbool Baloch along with SSP (Operation) Police Naseebullah khan lead the crackdown on Airport Road. This smuggled vehicles mafia is consisted on unscrupulous elements who are also taking the advantage of meager staff of Customs, vast area of province and annexed two borders with Iran and Afghanistan having thousands of miles. Meanwhile 25000 liters of foreign Irani origin diesel were also taken into custody by Customs Mobiles squad near Dasht area.

Collector Ashraf Ali has appreciated ADC Zubair Shah and DC Maqbool Baloch along with the rest of team. Superintendents Maqsood Durrani, Muhammad Aslam Khan, Inspectors Shahzad Akhtar, Naseer Shaheen, Jameel Kakar, Ghulam Hussain Khoso, Yousaf Notezai, Essa Khan Shabir Khan, among the raid team.
