KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh, comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Yousuf Ali Sayeed on Monday ordered provisional release of Asphalt paver machines according to law.
The bench was hearing two separate but identical petitions filed by Minhaj Construction Company and B.N.S Construction Company.
Earlier, the bench heard Ms Dil Khurram Saheen advocate appearing for the two petitioner companies. She relied upon an earlier order passed by another division bench of SHC then headed by Justice Munib Akhtar, now judge of Supreme Court.
The bench after hearing the sides passing a short order asked the Pakistan Customs concerned collectorate (East and Port Muhammad Bin Qasim) to release the machines on provisional basis and in accordance with law.
The bench then fixed July 5 for final decision in these two petitions.
