KARACHI: A customs appellate bench of High Court of Sindh restrained Director of Intelligence and Investigations, SSP ACLC and other respondents from harassing owner of a Toyota Crown car, model 2005.
The petitioner moved the court through advocate Ms Dil Khurram Shaheen maintaining that he has purchased a car from a private person. The said person handed over an ONO and other documents from Pakistan Customs establishing that car was cleared by custom authorities.
It was further maintained that car was duly registered but since few months, officials of the respondents are stopping the vehicle at different check points in and around the metropolis.
The bench going through the documents placed ion record restrained the respondents from harassing the petitioner.
