KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed 211 persons as Appraising/Valuation Officers (BS-16) under FBR.
These officials have been appointed on the recommendation of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Islamabad.
On appointment, their services are placed at the disposal of Customs field formations. It may be mentioned here that these officials would go through a 3-month training prior to their postings.
Of these 211 officials, 132 Appraising/Valuation Officers have been posted in Karachi; 34 officials have been posted in Lahore; 12 officials have been posted in Islamabad and similarly officials as per requirement have been posted at various collectorates.
