KARACHI: The Director, Directorate of Customs Valuation on Tuesday issued Valuation Ruling 987 of 2016 determining the custom value of Networking Equipment in exercise of powers conferred under section 25-A of Customs Act 1969.
The Valuation Ruling required revision in line with the prevailing prices in the international market prompting the Directorate General for undertaking the entire exercise as mandated by the Section 25-A, a notification said adding that all stake holders including Pakistan Computer Association, Karachi, importers and officers of the field formations were taken on board. The details of the new value against specific equipment are mentioned in the Annexure ‘A’ with the said Valuation Ruling.
