KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of various types of Euro cake vide Valuation Ruling No.946/2016, wherein the customs values of Euro cakes have been increased by an average of around 100 percent.
The customs values of Euro cakes were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 305/2011. Since the said valuation was 5 years old and needed revision in the light of values prevailing in the international market.
Wasif Memon formed a team comprising Additional Director Nadeem Memon, Deputy Director Shoib Raza, Principal Appraiser Safdar Abbas and Appraising Officer Umar Baloch to determine the values of Euro cakes afresh.
