KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtar and Justice Anwar Hussain on Friday affording last opportunity to Pakistan Customs, MCC Hyderabad, Anti Smuggling adjourned hearing of three Special Custom Reference Applications till Sept 21.
The SCRA’s were filed by Bashir Ahmed, Najbeeb-ur-Rahman and Ahmed Ishaque who sought release of oil tankers owned by them but were confiscated for allegedly carrying smuggled High Speed Diesel.
Today, Kashir Nazeer Advocate appearing for the respondent Custom officials sought time. The files are missing. I tried my best to locate the same but so far unable to find them. He then requested for some time. As Miss. Dil Khurram Shaheen advocate, counsel for applicant did not opposed the request, the bench affording last opportunity to respondents adjourned proceedings till Sept 21.
