KARACHI: The Oil Section of MCC Preventive has surpassed all revenue collection targets as the total collection for the year 2015-16 stood at Rs112.56 billion, which is 18 percent higher than the assigned target of Rs95.455 billion.
Oil Section MCC preventive collected customs duty of Rs21.672 billion against the target of Rs18.5 billion; sales tax collection stood at Rs82.871 billion against the target of Rs72.64 billion; WHT collection stood at Rs3.074 billion against the target of Rs1.714 billion and FED collection stood at Rs4.943 billion against the assigned target of Rs2.599 billion for the fiscal year 2015-16.
As far as June 2016 is concerned, Oil Section MCC Preventive surpassed the overall collection target by 19 percent as the collection stood at Rs11.854 billion against the target of Rs9.933 billion.
Oil Section MCC Preventive had collected a total revenue of Rs75.972 billion in the last fiscal year 2014-15, against the target of Rs83.304 billion missing the target by 8.8ppercent.
