KARACHI: MCC Islamabad led by Collector Arslan Subuctageen has surpassed all revenue collection targets as the total collection for the year 2015-16 stood at Rs17.422 billion, which is 8.0 percent higher than the assigned target of Rs16.167 billion.
MCC Islamabad collected customs duty of Rs6.551 billion against the target of Rs5.84 billion; sales tax collection stood at Rs7.732 billion against the target of Rs6.788 billion; WHT collection stood at Rs2.70 billion against the target of Rs3.139 billion and FED collection stood at Rs433.57 million against the assigned target of Rs394 million for the fiscal year 2015-16.
It may be mentioned here that overall revenue collection by MCC Islamabad is 16 percent higher than the overall revenue collection in the fiscal year 2014-15.
