Auction for vehicles, general cargo to be held on April 10 at SWH, Customs House

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs to conduct an auction for leftover lots of vehicles and general cargo on April 10, 2014 at SWH, Customs House, Karachi, a circular said on Wednesday.
The auction-able vehicles are included:
1. Used Toyota Land Cruiser (Parado) (Model 1994);
2. Used Honda Inspire Car (Model 2005);
3. Used Toyota Mark-X (Model 2005); and
4. Used Toyota Land Cruiser (Model 1994-2982CC)
It is mentioned that bidders are requested to inspect the lots of vehicles at CPF bond Maripur/Rasheedabad Site, Karachi.
The auction-able general cargo goods are included:
1. Tyres/tubes;
2. Art silk cloth (ladies)/gents;
3. Art silk cloth
4. Art silk lace/cotton wicks tape;
5. Curtain cloth assorted sized;
6. UPS power shield brand band;
7. Pine menthol light cigarettes; maiwand;
8. Motor oil;
9. Used motor trolly;

A circular said that the successful bidders are requested to pay 25 percent cash or pay order on the spot with a copy of CNIC and National Tax Number (NTN). It said that sealed tender with pay order of 25 percent will be acceptable on the name of Collector of Customs (Preventive) and 10 percent income tax is admissible as per new amendment from July 1, 2013.
