KARACHI: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has announced the operational working hours of Wharves and Karachi Dock Labour Board (KDLB) for the month of Holy Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
According to the new schedule the working hours at the wharves will be from 7.00 AM to 2.00AM in the day shift and from 7.30PM to 2.30AM in the night shift with recess of 30 minutes in both the shifts.
However, the timings on Friday the day shift will be from 7.00AM to 01.00PM without recess. The night shift will be same as other days and starts at 7.30PM to 2.30AM with 30 minutes recess.
The working schedule other than wharf including sheds will be from 7.00AM to 3.00PM for day shift and from 7.30 to 3.00AM for night shift with 30 minutes recess in both the shifts. The working times for Friday will be from 7.00AM to 3.00PM for day shift with one hour from 1.00PM to 2.00PM break-time. The timing for night shift will be same as other working days.
