Karachi: In a major crackdown on the smuggling of contraband, the Customs Enforcement in Karachi successfully conducted a raid at Babar Market, Landhi. Acting on credible intelligence received by Mr. Moin Ud Din Ahmad Wani, the Collector of Customs Enforcement, Karachi, the operation unfolded on the night of January 9th and continued into the early hours of January 10th.
The raid led to the recovery of approximately 8,000 kilograms of smuggled betel nuts, a significant haul valued at around Rs. 8 million in the market.
