KARACHI: MCC Appraisement East has notified that FTA Certificate uploaded along with the Goods Declaration (GD) shall be verified online where such facility is available by Appraising Officer (AO) to complete the assessment.
The original copy of FTA Certificate in these cases will not be called from the importers through FTA Counter till further Orders. The measure was taken to observe Covid 19 Social Distancing Protocols and ensure speedy clearance of goods.
The respective supervisory officers i.e. Deputy Collectors and Assistant Collectors of the concerned appraising Group will ensure strict implementation of the decision.
