KARACHI: Collector MCC Islamabad Arslan Subuctageen has stepped up the campaign against movement of smuggled goods and seized goods worth millions in separate operations.
Islamabad customs in an action seized a bus after chasing at Tarnol interchange and seized the bus along with LED TV sets of different, ladies cloth, Vatica Indian hair oil, locks and ball bearings. The value of goods is estimated at Rs3.0 million.
In an another action one truck was seized near Taxila along with 1170 kg cloth valuing Rs.2.0 millions. Also recovered 720 KG smuggled AS cloth.
Moreover, MCC Islamabad intercepted a 20 ft container full of smuggled Dry Fruit weighing 12 tons and seized the container coming from Peshawar. Seized goods are Almonds , Fig dry , Pine nuts along with the vehicle 20ft container. Value of the seizure is Rs8.0 million.
Islamabad customs is working in the field of anti-smuggling at the best. They are seizing every type of smuggled good on every corner of there jurisdiction from Attock upto Jhelum all roads, from every vehicle.
This is a record performance of Islamabad under the great command of collector customs MCC Islamabad Dr Arslan subucgtageen.
