KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Valuation has amended the Valuation Ruling No. 883/2016 and revised the customs values of empty hard gelatin capsules in line with the upward trend in the prices of these goods in the international market.
M/s Khalid Ilyas had approached the Directorate General seeking revision in the customs values of empty hard gelatin capsules as the values determined vide impugned valuation ruling were on the higher side and values for Bangladesh origin were not mentioned in the ruling.
The Directorate General after detailed deliberation of the case and market inquiry revised and categorized the customs values of goods determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 883/2016.
