KARACHI: Government of Pakistan has decided to disengage panel advocates placed on various panels prior to December 31, 2008. Therefore, panel advocates from the panel of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have been disengaged.
The FBR has advised all formations that cases already assigned to any such advocates should be reassigned.
The advocates disengaged from the panel of FBR include Muhammad Amin Feroz Khan, Syed Nawab Hasan Gardezi, Zia ul Haq Kayani, Sabiha Safdar Kayani and Blosh Ahmed Junejo of Rawalpindi/Islamabad stations; Syed Shafqat Ali Shah, Pervez Shams Memon, Syed Irshad ur Rehman, Samina Shaikh from Karachi; Asghar Ali Gurdaspuri from Multan; Hakim Ali soomro from Sukkur; Eid Mubarak Khattak from Peshawar; Muhammad Yahya Johar, Ehsan ur Rehman and Saeed ur Rehman Dogar from Lahore stations.
Advocates already disengaged from the panel of FBR include Afzal Ahmed Hashmi, Khadim hussain Zahid, Rana Asadullah, Shahid Raza Malik, Abdul Saeed Khan Ghori, Mohammad Altaf Mun, Nasrullah Awan, Ahmed Khan Bugti and Javed Ahmed Farooqui.
