KARACHI: In a decisive move, the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken disciplinary action against multiple officers and officials. According to a notification issued under Rule 5(1) of the Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 2020, the following individuals have been suspended with immediate effect for a period of 120 days or until further orders:

 

1. Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Inland Revenue Officer, posted at Regional Tax Office-I, Karachi.

 

2. Arshad Mahmood, Inland Revenue Officer, posted at Regional Tax Office-I, Karachi.

 

3. Ubaidullah Buksh, Inspector-IR, posted at Regional Tax Office, Hyderabad.

 

4. Sarfraz Ahmad, Office Superintendent, posted at Regional Tax Office, Faisalabad.

 

5. Munir-ul-Haq, Senior Auditor, posted at Regional Tax Office, Hyderabad.

 

6. Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, Inspector-IR, posted at Regional Tax Office, Sukkur.

 

7. Muhammad Arslan Yaqoob, UDC, posted at Corporate Tax Office, Lahore.

 

8. Syed Mansoor Hussain Yousifzai, UDC, posted at Regional Tax Office, Hyderabad.

 

9. Saqlain Haider, LDC, posted at Regional Tax Office, Faisalabad.
