KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced the appointment of Muhammad Junaid Jalil (BS-21) as Member Customs – Operations.
Junaid is known as a very competent and honest officer, and he was serving as Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement – South.
Member Customs – Operations Ashad Jawwad has reportedly gone on leave. It may be mentioned here Yaqoob Mako, Saeed Akram and Jamil Nasir were also being considered for the office.
Chief Collector of Customs (Exports), Karachi, Irfan-ur-Rehman Khan is also assigned the look after charge of the post of Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement (South), Karachi in addition to his already assigned duties till posting of a regular incumbent.
