Investment Information Will Be Provided, Dr. Manoj Shah Speaks at Dinner Hosted by Malik Khuda Bakhsh:

Karachi: Dr. Manoj Shah, Third Vice President of Lions Club International, stated that Pakistani companies can establish a presence in the pharmaceutical industry in Kenya. He expressed his readiness to contribute to increasing trade opportunities between Pakistan and Kenya and assured that any Pakistani investors interested in investing in any African country would receive all necessary information. He made these remarks during his address at a dinner hosted in his honor by former International Director, PMJF Lion Malik Khuda Bakhsh and Lioness Ayesha Malik.

The event also featured speeches by former Federal Minister Nilofar Bakhtiar, UBG President Zubair Tufail, former Senior Vice President FPCCI Khalid Twaab, Abdul Samad Khan, Deputy Patron-in-Chief KATI Zubair Chhaya, PCC Lioness Ayesha Malik, and others. The gathering was attended by Aref Habib Group Chairman Aref Habib, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Lions Atif Munir, Lions Noorul Siam Noor, Dr. Ikhtiyar Baig, Mian Zahid Hussain, and others.

Dr. Manoj Shah highlighted that there is a growing demand for Pakistani medicines in Kenya. As a result, Pakistani pharmaceutical manufacturers are investing in this sector, with four Pakistani pharmaceutical plants being established in Kenya. He emphasized that Pakistani companies have the potential to make a significant impact in the pharmaceutical industry in Kenya. Dr. Shah praised Lions Club International’s global humanitarian efforts and specifically mentioned the organization’s support for flood victims in Pakistan, including providing housing and other aid. He commended Malik Khuda Bakhsh and Ayesha Malik for their outstanding services to Lions Club International.

In his address, Malik Khuda Bakhsh expressed his joy and pride in welcoming Lions Club International’s Third Vice President to Pakistan and thanked Dr. Manoj Shah for accepting the invitation to visit. He noted that Dr. Shah was elected as Third Vice President in Australia and has dedicated many years to global service through Lions Club International. Malik Khuda Bakhsh acknowledged the invaluable support Dr. Shah has provided to Pakistan over the years.

Lioness Ayesha Malik emphasized the importance of Lions Club’s social services in Pakistan, praising their commendable work for the poor and middle class across various sectors.

During the event, Dr. Manoj Shah presented an award to Khalid Twaab on behalf of SM Tanveer, Patron-in-Chief of the United Business Group of FPCCI, recognizing his contributions.
