QUETTA: The Ministry of Commerce and the Directorate General of Trade Organizations (DGTO) have revoked the license of the Chaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry for not renewing it.
The license of the Chaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry had expired on 2019-05-29 and was not renewed until 2024-05-28.
It’s worth noting that Haji Jalat Khan Achakzai, the former president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, had discussed license matters with senior officials multiple times during his tenure and afterward.
Despite informing the DGTO about concealing and not renewing the license, no action was taken. As a result, the license of the Chaman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been revoked.
