Squeaky Bean, a brand owned by Compleat Food Group, has introduced its first frozen ingredients range, featuring Seasoned Chicken Style Pieces and Steak Style Strips. The products are made with wheat and pea protein, and can be cooked from frozen in three minutes.
They are suitable for various dishes, such as curries, pastas, salads, tacos and stir-fries. The brand aims to offer plant-based shoppers quick and versatile options with no compromise on taste and texture. Squeaky Bean plans to launch more innovative products in 2024. The frozen range will be available in Waitrose from 8 January.
