KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) is continuously assisting Customs in its anti-smuggling drive and routinely conducts checking of suspected vehicles at all the entry points of the city.

In an intelligence based operation, Customs Intelligence with the assistance of Rangers arrested five persons at Hub check post on Karachi-Baluchistan border and recovered 2.05kg of ICE valuing Rs20 million.

Moreover, during checking large quantity of other smuggled goods including cigarettes, Indian gutkha, Chinese salt were also recovered from secret cavities of passenger buses.
