QUETTA: The Chief Minister of Baluchistan, Mir Mardan Ali Khan Domki, met with the Chief Collector of Customs Baluchistan, Abdul Qadir Memon, on Tuesday to discuss ways to enhance counter smuggling measures in the province. The CM assured his full support to the customs department and asked the civil administration to cooperate with them in curbing the illegal trade.
The meeting also discussed a new plan for anti-smuggling in the province, which aims to protect the local industry and generate more revenue for the national exchequer. The CM appreciated the ongoing anti-smuggling campaign and praised the Chief Collector Memon for his leadership and effective execution of the enforcement role of customs. He said that the customs department was playing a vital role in safeguarding the economic interests of the country.
