KARACHI: A custom appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) disposed of a petition filed by Messer’s Tecno Pack Electronics (Pvt) Ltd in respect of its imported consignment of mobile phones and accessories.
Earlier a counsel from noted law firm Franklin Law Associates appeared for the petitioner company and said that identical matter has been settled in judgment in constitution petition No CP D-5389 of 2022 and identical treatment is sought by the petitioner company.
As Attorney General appearing for the state did not oppose the request, the bench disposed of the petition on the basis of same principle, rationale and conclusion applying the said judgment “mutatis mutandis”.
